Designed by Kirstin Markulin, this contemporary West Vancouver hillside home features a blend of engineered veneer and painted millwork. The open concept kitchen is grounded by an inset quartz covered hood fan which is then wrapped by two millwork sections housing various appliances. The floating desk in the office is of such a wide span that it needed a lengthy steel substructure integrated into the base of the millwork desktop. In the lower floor of the home, we built a family room TV unit that houses a built in sound system.
