SHAUGHNESSY LUXE

project description

Designed by Glenn Washburn for Peter Rose Architecture + Interiors, this rebuild of a heritage, Tudor style Shaughnessy luxury home involved a glamourous take on contemporary living. Painted flat slab millwork was used throughout the main spaces, often in conjunction with striking black marble with white veining. The family room features seamless, fully built in entertainment units flanking the TV, while the office bar has millwork built around the marble slab fireplace, with black marble running through to the wet bar area.

The kitchen features a large fully integrated fridge and freezer built in, with custom raised trim detailing on the proud square columns at each end of the island seating. Stained rift European white oak is framed by painted millwork gables in the built in master closet, while the guest bathroom vanity was crafted from stained, flat cut European white oak.
